🍒Ingredients
Here are the ingredients we used for this recipe. You can find more information for substitutions below.
- Chocolate. We opted for dark chocolate for this recipe. Use bars to cut into small pieces for the chocolate shell, as they melt much better than chips. We use chocolate chunks for the inside of the popsicles. You can use whatever you prefer here. Bittersweet, semi-sweet, and milk chocolate all work well if you prefer that over dark chocolate.
- Greek yogurt. We recommend using vanilla Greek yogurt for this for a little extra sweetness.
- Heavy cream. Technically optional, but helps make a creamier popsicle.
- Cherries. We used a mixture of sweet cherries and a few Rainier cherries. Fresh or frozen will work well. If using frozen, don't thaw them.

✨Substitutions & Variations
Here are a few suggestions on additional flavors to try, or simple variations to this recipe.
- Swap the yogurt. If you don't have vanilla Greek yogurt, you can use plain instead, but you may need to add in more honey to taste.
- Creamier. Use full-fat Greek yogurt instead of non-fat or plain.
- Dairy-free. Swap the yogurt for your favorite dairy-free version, and use a plant-based heavy cream instead of regular heavy cream.
- Vegan. Follow all of the steps from above to make this recipe dairy-free, then use maple syrup, sugar, or agave instead of honey.
This recipe hasn't been tested with any other substitutions or variations, so we can't guarantee any results. If you make a change, let us know how it goes in the comments below!

Freeze the popsicles
Freeze the popsicles for at least 4 hours, preferably 8 hours, or until they are completely frozen solid. (Image 10)
After the popsicles have been frozen completely, remove them from the molds, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (Image 11) Freeze them again for an hour or so if you plan to add a chocolate shell.
Make the chocolate shell
Add chopped chocolate to a bowl with coconut oil. (Image 9)
Melt in the microwave at 50% power in 20-30 second increments, stirring in between until completely melted. (Image 11)
⭑Pro tip: Heat at a lower power and stir between each increment! This is very important to ensure you don't accidentally burn the chocolate.
Drizzle with chocolate
Quickly drizzle or dunk the frozen popsicles into the chocolate with your desired design. (Image 14)
Work quickly, then transfer the popsicles back onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, and freeze again until solid (about 10-15 minutes).

✨Top Tips
- Remove all the pits of the cherries. It's important to make sure that the cherry pits are removed and not blended! Take care to ensure you get all of the pits out.
- Freeze completely. We know it can be a hassle to wait, but make sure you're freezing completely between each step or you'll end up with a melted, soupy mess instead of popsicles!
- Sweeten to taste. After blending the yogurt mixture, taste it, and adjust the sweetness to suit your preferences.
- For the chocolate shell, melt the chocolate gently! You want to be very careful when melting the chocolate, so melt on a lower power, in short bursts, stirring in between.
