    This Classic Raspberry Martini is a fruity and refreshing cocktail that combines the sweetness of raspberries with tangy lemon juice. With just a few simple ingredients, it's an easy and elegant drink to make at home.

    This drink is made with our homemade raspberry simple syrup to give it a stunning sweet raspberry flavor and a beautiful pink color. It's a sweet cocktail with luscious fruity flavors and a vodka base. You only need a few fresh ingredients to bring it together.

    • Lemon juice - Freshly squeezed.
    • Raspberry simple syrup - We make a delightful raspberry simple syrup made with fresh raspberry and it is absolutely delicious. The syrup comes together in just a few minutes but will need to chill completely before adding it to the cocktail shaker, or else it will melt the ice too much. The simple syrup can be prepared 2 weeks in advance.
    • Vodka
    • Ice
    • Fresh raspberries - For garnishing the drink.

    ✨Substitutions & variations

    Here are a few suggestions on additional flavors to try, or simple variations to this recipe.

    • Lower ABV. Want to lower the alcohol content? No problem! Just add less alcohol, or replace the vodka with your favorite liqueur.
    • Mocktail. Swap the vodka for water and shake everything up.
    • Less sweet. Add more or less raspberry syrup to suit your taste preferences.
    • Swap the citrus juice. You can use lime juice, fresh grapefruit juice, or even orange juice for the lemon juice.
    • Can be made sugar free. Simply follow the instructions for swapping sugar for allulose when preparing your raspberry simple syrup.
    • Use flavored vodka. Instead of using plain vodka, you can use flavored vodka if you like. We'd recommend raspberry, lemon, or some other citrus-flavored vodka.
    • Swap the liquor. You can swap vodka for tequila, gin, or rum if you prefer.

    🔪Prep work

    • Make the simple syrup first if doing this on the day of. The raspberry simple syrup can be made at least 2 weeks in advance if stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
    • Squeeze lemon juice.
    • Chill the cocktail glasses. You can place ice cubes in your cocktail glass, then dump them out to chill the glass before adding the finished cocktail. Or, you can simply place the glasses in the freezer.
    • Measure out all remaining ingredients.

    Shake vigorously to chill, for about 15-20 seconds, then, strain into chilled cocktail glasses, like coupe or martini glasses. (Image 4)

    ✨Pro Tip: If there are shards of ice in your shaker coming out into your drink, you can always double strain the cocktail through a fine mesh strainer (affiliate link) into your glass.

    💭Frequently Asked Questions

    How to store the leftovers?

    This recipe is best enjoyed right away, and we don't recommend making it in advance. However, if you need to save it, store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Do not freeze.

    You can squeeze the lemon juice about 1 day in advance, and you can make simple syrup up to 2 weeks in advance.

    Can I make a large batch of this drink?


    To make a large batch, mix the vodka, lemon juice, and raspberry syrup really well in a pitcher. If desired, you can add some ice, but just be warned that it will melt into the drink and dilute it over time.
