Here's What You Need For Low Carb Raspberry and Pomegranate Cocktail:

Ingredients:

  • Ice to fill your cocktail shaker
  • Syrup sugar free sweetener of choice, or sugar free simple syrup, equivalent to 2 tsp (we use KetoseSweet+)
  • 4 whole raspberries 
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon (plus lemon slices for garnish) 
  • 1.5 oz pomegranate juice (we love PomWonderful
  • 1.5 oz Reposado Tequila (we love Hornitos
  • 0.5 oz Lemon Rum (we use Bacardi Limon) 
  • 6 oz sparkling water (we use Lemon Belle Vie from Aldi

This recipe makes 2 servings, so perfect for Valentine’s Day! 
 
Pro tip: place your glasses in the freezer about 15 minutes before you make the cocktail so they are nice and cold. 

We know that pomegranate juice is naturally high in sugar, so that is why we are really careful with how much of it we use. We aren’t strict keto, so we just eat what fits into our macros. We happen to love pomegranate. It’s full of potassium, so we are okay with having it once in a while.

Here's How To Make Low Carb Pomegranate and Raspberry Cocktail:

Place your cocktail glasses in the freezer about 15 minutes before you get started. This will keep the glasses nice and cold! Fill your cocktail shaker with ice.

Add in your sugar free simple syrup.

Add in your raspberries. You could muddle them, but we find it’s fine not to, as they raspberries will break up when you shake it all up.

Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the cocktail shaker.

Add in your pomegranate juice.  
Add in your tequila. 
Add the rum. 
Shake everything up and pour the juice into your chilled glass! 
Top with sparkling water. 
Garnish with lemon slices.
