Ingredients
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 2 tsp sugar free simple syrup (we use KetoseSweet+)
  • 4 whole raspberries
  • 0.5 whole lemon (juice)
  • 1.5 oz pomegranate juice (we use PomWonderful)
  • 1.5 oz Reposado tequila (we use Hornitos)
  • 0.5 oz lemon rum (we use Bacardi limon)
  • 6 oz lemon sparkling water (we use Aldi's Belle Vie brand)
Instructions
  1. Place your cocktail glasses in the freezer about 15 minutes before you get started. This will keep the glasses nice and cold! Fill your cocktail shaker with ice.

  2. Add in your sugar free simple syrup.

  3. Add in your raspberries. You could muddle them, but we find it’s fine not to, as they raspberries will break up when you shake it all up.

  4. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the cocktail shaker.

  5. Add in your pomegranate juice.

  6. Add in your tequila.

  7. Add the rum.

  8. Shake everything up and pour the juice into your chilled glass!

  9. Top with sparkling water.

Recipe Notes

Recipe Notes:

This recipe makes 2 servings, so perfect for Valentine's Day!

Pro tip: place your glasses in the freezer about 15 minutes before you make the cocktail so they are nice and cold. We know that pomegranate juice is naturally high in sugar, so that is why we are really careful with how much of it we use. We aren't strict keto, so we just eat what fits into our macros. We happen to love pomegranate, it's full of potassium, so we are okay with having some once in a while.
