- Milk - Room temperature, if needed to thin the mixture a bit so it whips up better.

🔪Prep work
- Allow butter to sit out at room temperature to soften for about an hour.
- Let milk set out to come to room temperature for about an hour.
- Measure out honey and salt.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine butter and some of the honey. (Image 1)
Add a big pinch of salt. (Image 2)
Use an electric mixer or stand mixer with the whisk attachment, and mix ingredients together starting on low speed, then increasing to medium speed. (Image 3)
Taste, and adjust sweetness and salt level to your preference, adding more honey as needed. (Image 4)

Whipped Honey Butter Recipe
Equipment
- hand mixer (can use a stand mixer with a whisk attachment)
- mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 8 ounces unsalted butter, room temperature (2 sticks)
- 3 tablespoons honey (or more, to taste)
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon milk, room temperature (optional, to thin)
Instructions
- Combine softened butter, honey, and salt in a mixing bowl. Starting on low speed with a hand mixer or stand mixer with a paddle attachment, increase to medium speed and mix until completely combined.
- Add more honey and/or salt to taste, and continue mixing, streaming in milk slowly until desired consistency is reached.
- Spread over top of bread, sweet potatoes, cornbread muffins, and more! Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days. To freeze, store in a freezer-safe container for up to 6 months and thaw in the fridge overnight.
