Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 medium lime quartered
  • ⅓ - ½ cup gin to taste!
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (1 can is 14 ounces)
  • 16 ounces frozen sweet cherries
  • 4 cups ice

Instructions

  • Add the lime juice and a whole lime to the bottom of a high-speed blender.
    1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice, 1 medium lime
  • Add the gin, along with the sweetened condensed milk.
    ⅓ - ½ cup gin, 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • Pour in the frozen cherries, followed by the ice, and blend until smooth and creamy.
    16 ounces frozen sweet cherries, 4 cups ice
  • Garnish with lime slices, cherries, and fresh mint, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use freshly squeezed lime juice. When it comes to lime juice, you just can't beat fresh! Since there are so few ingredients in this drink, they all make a big impact on the flavor. Squeeze it fresh yourself for the best results.
  • Frozen cherries are best. This will help the drink stay colder, for longer!
  • Chill the gin and the sweetened condensed milk. We want all the ingredients to be as cold as possible. This will help prevent the drink from melting quickly.
  • Use fresh ice! If ice has been sitting in the freezer for a long time, it may begin to absorb odors from the food around it. Do yourself a favor, and use fresh ice for the best-tasting drink.
  • Add more gin to taste. For a boozier drink, add more gin to taste! Just be aware that you may want to add more ice or frozen cherries with the added liquid.
