  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 1 tsp binding ingredient (like xanthan gum)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 3/4 cup sweetener of choice (we use Swerve and Lakanto Golden)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (full fat)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Sugar Free Maple Flavored Syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar free chocolate chips (we use Lily's)
  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, add your almond flour, binding ingredient, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Set aside.

  3. In a small bowl, melt your butter. Add in your sweeteners, and cream together well with a hand mixer.

  4. Add in your cream cheese, vanilla extract, and maple flavored syrup. Cream together again.

  5. Finally, add in your egg and mix well with the hand mixer.

  6. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and mix well with a rubber spatula. Fold in the chocolate chip cookies.

  7. Roll the dough into balls and place on the baking sheet. The cookies won't spread much, so make sure you're okay with the shape and size.

  8. Bake for around 20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown. Let cool for about 15 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
