Ingredients

  • 3 medium strawberries, quartered (about 50 grams)
  • 2 ounces lime juice, fresh
  • 1 ounce orange juice, fresh
  • 1.5 ounces sugar free jalapeño simple syrup (1.5 servings of our homemade simple syrup)
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • teaspoon kosher salt (to taste)

Instructions

  • Prepare your jalapeño simple syrup ahead of time so that it has time to cool. Add strawberries to the bottom of a cocktail shaker and muddle.
  • Add ice to the cocktail shaker, followed by salt, orange juice, lime juice, tequila and jalapeño simple syrup. Shake for 30 seconds and double strain into an ice filled glass rimmed with salt.
  • Garnish with strawberries, jalapeño, lime wedges, and/or cilantro. Enjoy!

Notes

We use our jalapeño simple syrup in this recipe, if you use something else, it will impact the nutrition information.
  • You can use regular sugar free simple syrup in place of the jalapeño simple syrup, and blend this recipe with a chunk of jalapeño in the blender if you want, instead of using the cocktail shaker method.
  • You could prepare these cocktails (in a larger batch) about 1 day in advance if you prefer.
