Blood Orange Gin Cocktail (Sugar Free)

Whether it's blood orange season or not, you will want to try this simple Sugar Free Blood Orange Gin cocktail! It's so refreshing, delicious and easy to make. We start with a super simple to make sugar free simple syrup, lemon juice, freshly squeezed blood orange juice and gin.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces blood orange juice
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 2 ounces gin
  • 1 ounce sugar free simple syrup
  • Club soda or seltzer water to top (optional)
  • Ice for the cocktail shaker and glass
  • Blood orange slices and fresh thyme sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare your simple syrup first by bringing 1 cup of water to a boil. Remove from the heat immediately and add in 1 and 1/3 cups allulose sweetener. Stir to dissolve. Allow to cool before adding to the cocktail. Store in an air tight container in the fridge indefinitely.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the blood orange juice, lemon juice, gin and sugar free simple syrup.
  • Shake vigorously for 30 seconds or more, then double strain into an ice filled glass. Top with club soda if desired. Garnish with blood orange slices and a sprig of fresh thyme.
