Raspberry Mojito

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce raspberry simple syrup
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 10 whole mint leaves (leaves only, no sprigs)
  • 5 whole raspberries
  • 2 ounces rum
  • 4 ounces soda water
  • Ice
  • Top with sparkling water or soda water of choice, garnish with raspberries and mint

Instructions

  • In a tall glass, add mint leaves, raspberries, lime juice, and raspberry simple syrup. Muddle for about 10 - 20 seconds. Be careful not to bruise to mint leaves.
  • Add ice, rum, and soda water. Stir with a barspoon or with the back of a spoon.
  • Garnish with lime, raspberries, and mint, and enjoy! This drink is best served immediately and we don't recommend storing leftovers.

Notes

  • Use fresh ingredients - Using the freshest ingredients will give you the best flavor in this cocktail.
  • Adjust sweetness to your liking - Depending on your personal taste when it comes to sweetness, you can reduce or increase the amount of simple syrup that you use in this recipe.
  • Chill your glassware - Chilling your serving glass is the best way to keep your cocktail cooler for longer.
  • Muddle but, don't over mix - Your muddled raspberries and mint should only take about 10 - 20 seconds to release the mint flavor. Any longer will result in a bitter taste from the bruised mint.
