This Creamy Guacamole recipe is easy to make, and will have everyone asking for more! With only 7 ingredients, anyone can make it. It has become a staple in our household. Add it to burrito bowls, stuffed bell peppers, or eat as a snack. We're sure it will accompany your meal perfectly!
Additionally, we don't claim that this is a super authentic recipe. It's simply the way I've been making my guacamole for year. A friend of mine tasted this recipe about 6 years ago and has been asking about it ever since. Happy to show it off to her and the rest of you!
Here's What You Need For Creamy Guacamole:
- Fresh garlic
- Jalapeño- optional, you can remove seeds to reduce heat.
- Fresh lime juice
- Avocados
- Sour cream - not a traditional ingredient, but it's what makes this creamy!
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, (optional)

Finely mince the garlic and jalapeño. If you don't like spicy, take out the jalapeño seeds. We like spicy, so we leave them in. Dice up about ½ of your cilantro stems and leaves and set aside the rest of the cilantro for garnish.
Very carefully cut the avocados in half and remove the seeds. Seriously, be careful.
Next, Scoop the avocado out into a bowl and mash with a fork. Add your cilantro, garlic, and jalapeños.
Add in the sour cream, lime juice and olive oil. Add salt and pepper and adjust seasonings as necessary.

- 1 whole jalapeño
- ¼ bunch cilantro
