This Creamy Guacamole recipe is easy to make, and will have everyone asking for more! With only 7 ingredients, anyone can make it. It has become a staple in our household. Add it to burrito bowls, stuffed bell peppers, or eat as a snack. We’re sure it will accompany your meal perfectly!

This creamy guacamole recipe is a favorite in our household. We initially shared it in April of 2016, but like many of the older recipes on our site we are going back to revamp the photos.  We hope you enjoy the new cleaner, sophisticated look and updated photos! 

Additionally, we don’t claim that this is a super authentic recipe. It’s simply the way I’ve been making my guacamole for year. A friend of mine tasted this recipe about 6 years ago and has been asking about it ever since. Happy to show it off to her and the rest of you! 

Here's What You Need For Creamy Guacamole:

Ingredients:

 
  • 4 small cloves of garlic
  • 1 jalapeño
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2 ripe avocados, or 4 small ones (save the seeds)
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 bunch of cilantro, divided (optional)

Here's How To Make Creamy Guacamole:

Finely mince the garlic and jalapeño. If you don’t like spicy, take out the jalapeño seeds. We like spicy, so we leave them in. Dice up about 1/2 of your cilantro stems and leaves and set aside the rest of the cilantro for garnish.
Very carefully cut the avocados in half and remove the seeds. Seriously, be careful. We hear horror stories about our friends stabbing themselves with the knife accidentally all the time! You can also save your seeds
Next, Scoop the avocado out into a bowl and mash with a fork. Add your cilantro, garlic, and jalapeños.
Add in the sour cream, lime juice and olive oil. Add salt and pepper and adjust seasonings as necessary.

This creamy guacamole is the perfect addition to any meal or party. Eat it with a wide variety of things and enjoy it every time. Easy to make!

Ingredients
