    Ingredients:

    • Avocado
    • Sour cream, full fat
    • Avocado oil or olive oil
    • Fresh garlic
    • Lime
    • Cilantro (optional)
    • Pink Himalayan salt

How to Make Cilantro and Avocado Lime Crema:

Add your avocado, sour cream, garlic and cilantro to the food processor. It would help to rough chop your cilantro and garlic a little too.

Add your oil, salt and lime juice. Pulse for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until everything is incorporated. Scrape the sides, adjust seasonings to your preference, and pulse for another 30 seconds or so.

    Recipe Notes:

There are a lot of recipes for avocado crema floating around on the internet, and for good reason! Most Latin American countries have a version of their own. Trying this condiment over the years in various cuisines made us want to try and make at home.

So, in short, you're trying a potentially inauthentic, American version - BUT, we are quite confident that you will love it anyway! We always like to make a note when we don't come up with the concept of recipe ourselves. If you guys grew up eating something like this, let us know in the comments! We love hearing your stories, especially when they are fond memories from around your dinner table. 🙂

Cilantro: If you don't have cilantro, or don't like it, first of all, we are sad for you, but we get it. This Avocado Lime Crema will be still be delicious without it.

Food Processor: We love to use our food processor for a ton of recipes, and this is a perfect application. Use a blender if you don't have one to get a super creamy consistency that makes this side irresistible!
